ABOUT ME

My name is Ralf Tuerksch. I'm a licensed psychological psychotherapist specializing in behavioral therapy. In psychotherapy, I want to support you in learning how to deal effectively with unpleasant thoughts and feelings. We don't just focus on the mere treatment of symptoms. It's also about enabling you to live a life where you engage with what is important to you. Therefore, I really want to get to know and understand your individual situation. Based on cognitive behavioral therapy, my approach integrates mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies as well as interventions for exploration of values (see Acceptance & Commitment Therapy or ACT).

My therapeutic work focuses especially on the treatment of also anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders (including panic attacks, phobias, social anxiety, fear of illness or excessive worry) as well as burnout and depression.
